About Our Teen Group
In partnership with Graceful Therapy, NAMI KDK is proud to offer a peer support group free of charge for teens to explore mental health awareness and concerns. Co-led by a NAMI peer leader and Graceful Therapy Clinician, this series includes a monthly session over a 6-month timeframe at Graceful Therapy Oswego. We hope to provide a safe space to learn about mental health and support each other in their circumstances.

Stephanie says: "Throughout our lives, we all experience life-changing events that can feel manageable, or at times challenging and complex. When coping with these changes no longer feels manageable, the best thing we can do is reach out for help. As your therapist, I will work with you to navigate life's challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, effectively manage difficult emotions, and establish life-long skills. My goal is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space to support and encourage you through difficult times. You are the expert of your own life, and I am here to help you develop insight and utilize the resources already within you. As a BIPOC-identifying therapist, I bring a wealth of experience and understanding to the therapeutic relationship. I am a strong ally, advocate for underrepresented groups, and am determined to help make the world a better place, one conversation at a time. I look forward to meeting you!"
