  • Currently, appointments are for Groups 1B seniors 65 years of age and older, Group 1B essential workers and remaining 1A healthcare workers who have not yet received the first does of the vaccine

  • THE DEMAND IS MUCH HIGHER THAN THE SUPPLY ALL OVER THE U.S. More appointments will be made available over the coming weeks 

Additional Information
  • The Kane County Health Department is working with IDPH and other partners to host a COVID-19 community event in Carpentersville on February 6 from 12-6pm at La Acancia Grocery Store.  There will be walk up COVID-19 testing, HIV testing, Narcan training and distribution, masks & PPE, blood pressure checks and goodie bags.  There will also be walk up vaccinations for Priority Group 1B frontline workers only.  Dr. Ezike (Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health) will be at this event!

  • KCHD is also offering free mobile COVID-19 testing in Carpentersville and Elgin this week
