Aurora NAMI KDK Connection Recovery (Group A)
Time & Location
About the Event
A free, monthly, 90-minute support group where adults who are living with a mental health condition can share experiences in a safe, confidential setting. NAMI-trained peer facilitators guide groups using a structured model to ensure all have the opportunity to be heard, supported, and encouraged without judgement. The groups encourage empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community. Meets in the second floor conference room on the first Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. No registration is required.
We have two Aurora Connections Groups held at the VNA each month, and NAMI KDK invites anyone to go to as many and as all groups that we offer that apply. We call this Group A because it is the first Wednesday of the month, and Group B is held on the second Wednesday of each month, which can be found under that specific group on the website as well.
