About The Event
Join NAMI KDK, in a fundraising concert to be held July 26th, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church, 27 South Edgelawn Drive, West Aurora Illinois. The concert will feature the Prairie Sky Quintet, Soprano Dana Vetter, Soprano Roxanne Furguson, and the Marmion Academy Brass Ensemble in mixture of Patriotic, Broadway, and Classical music. Doors will open at 1:45 p.m. Parking is free and there is ample intimate seating. This concert will have a free will offering, with proceeds going to NAMI KDK.
NAMI is an incredible organization for those either suffering from mental illness or those related or sympathetic to those individuals. NAMI is a not-for-profit membership organization created to improve the lives of individuals and families challenged by mental illness. It influences public polices, provides up to date education and support programs, and increases public awareness and understanding of mental illness.
